WORK / ANIMATION & EXPLAINER FILMS
Let’s Go GEO: turning geography into visual stories.
MOE
Geography explainer series

Geography concepts become easier to follow when learners can see how an idea works. For MOE, Red Ink produced a series that brings 2D visual explanation together with character-led 3D animation.
THE STORY BEHIND THE SERIES
The brief
MOE needed educational material that could carry detailed geography information without feeling like a slide deck in motion. The challenge was to make each concept clear for learners while giving the series enough visual energy to hold attention across episodes.
The approach
The originating concept and character designs were supplied to Red Ink. The team developed the production treatment, writing and visual sequences around them, using character-led scenes where a story could introduce a question and 2D graphics where a diagram or movement made the answer clearer. The formats were chosen to serve the explanation, not to add animation for its own sake.
FINISHED ANIMATION STILLS

The work
Red Ink produced the 2D explainer films and 3D Let’s Go GEO episodes, carrying the creative development and animation work from the supplied concept and character designs into finished educational films. Development artwork shows how the visual explanation took shape; the stills show the finished style.

What it demonstrates
The series shows Red Ink translating detailed subject matter into a repeatable visual format. The founder reports a positive response to the quality and pace of delivery, including a screening to secondary-school geography heads of department.
